Bomba Cup
The Bomba Cup is a soccer tournament held each year where our Region 1 chapters are invited to compete in a friendly and fun environment.
CSU San Jose will be hosting Bomba Cup this year. We have a tentative date and time of November 16th, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Be sure to check our calendar for more details.
RLDC
Regional Leadership Development Conference (RLDC) is currently being planned for Spring 2020 and will be taking place in San Jose, CA. You can learn more about last years conference with this link.
Noche De Ciencias
Noche de Ciencias is a great way to get students and parents involved with STEM. Our SHPE chapters are inviting K-12 students to participate in hands-on STEM activities while interacting with STEM undergraduate students and professionals. Parents will be provided with college resources that help encourage their children to pursue higher education and STEM careers.
Sports Fest
Sportsfest is an event for SHPE chapters in Region 1 to come together and participate in a set of games. We play different sports, in the past, we have included volleyball, soccer, and basketball. Thank you to Cal Poly SLO for hosting us 2018!
Post NILA
National Institute for Leadership Advancement (NILA). Post NILA was a success this year. We look forward to seeing you at the next one.
Bomba Blast
Bomba Blast is a resume review and mock interview event designed to help students prepare for an internship or job interview.
This year we will have a number of chapters hosting, including Fresno Professionals, Delta Valley Professionals, and SF Bay Area/ Silicon Valley.
